It is the structure of metal lattice, generally in a square section. The primary mission of mast is to provide sufficient height to the tower crane. A jib is a metal grid structure of a usually triangular section, whose primary work is to provide the crane with the specified range or radius. It is also termed a pen. It does not cross over as it can cause crushing.
